Chris and Mandi, who you may remember from their
engagements, and most recently, Mandi's
bridals at the Meyerson, held a beautiful wedding. The celebrations were lively, and there was a lot of dancing, which takes up almost the second half of this post. Despite the mild rain that came down during the beginning of their reception, it didn't really phase anyone, which is always a plus.
They held their wedding ceremony at St. Barnabas United Methodist Church in Arlington, and T&P Station for their reception in Fort Worth.

The girls were ready shortly when we arrived, so I photographed them first, with Mandi in front of the group:
Then after some more formals, I got one of just herself in front of a circular window:
After I was done with the girls, it was time to photograph Chris and the rest of the guys:

The sign-in method wasn't a typical guestbook, but an illustration where you place your fingerprint using one of two ink pads, and then signing your name over the print itself. I thought the idea was genius, and you can see a detail of the balloon shape that took place later in the post:

The newly-weds waited in the choir dressing room while guests filed out to head to T&P Station:

If you haven't been to T&P Station, the first thing you'll notice are the high ceilings and the chandeliers:
There are two sides to enter, the main front, and the back entrance, next to the tavern. The wedding party waited in the back before entering for the MC's introductions:

A few details of the night -- Chris and Mandi are hockey fans, and Chris also played during his college days at UT-Arlington, as well:

Mandi's middle sister, who was her maid-of-honor, gave a wonderful speech, even though she was shuffling through and having a hard time with the order of her notes. It's at closer moments like these that organization can become a bit jumbled sometimes, since emotions can run high:
After some time has passed, and dinner has been settled in stomachs, it was time to cut the cake:

There was a lot of dancing, which I anticipated, and I wanted to whisk Chris and Mandi away briefly in-between for some photos as husband and wife at T&P:
The bouquet toss is always followed by hilarity, and this one was no exception. When Mandi tossed it, the youngest sister caught it, only to be caught in the stare of the middle sister demanding it:
And when it came to the garter toss, it just so happen to land in the hands of the other sister, so all is good!:
Now back to dancing!:
Their exit featured glowsticks, which was very appropriate for a night exit. It went from waving them goodbyes, to throwing them in the air!:
Chris, Mandi, and everyone involved, thank you for making February 18 a fantastic day for all of us. I'm positive the time and energy spent into your wedding paid off. I only wish you guys the best of luck on your future and journey as husband and wife!
