Mandi's Bridals - Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center

Now that Mandi's wedding has happened very recently, I can show these!

Mandi chose a beautiful location for her bridals. It was my first time photographing bridals at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Downtown Dallas, and thought it just went hand-in-hand.

She's had a musical background from playing the flute when she was in school, and performed at the symphony center, so the suggestion to use the Meyerson as a possible locale went straight to the top of her list. If you're a photographer and you get a chance to photograph at the Meyerson, take the chance, you won't regret it. Here are a few from her bridal session.

We started at the main lobby floor:

Then moved upstairs to the glass railings on the second floor:

I had her stay up there while I moved down to the main floor, and shot these with a telephoto:
On the second floor towards the back, there are large color installations that start close to the ceiling, which definitely caught my eye:
Here are a couple of stills that focus more on the details of the flowers, and ring in the second image:

As always, I welcome suggestions from all my clients, Mandi and her mom suggested she get photographed against the clean textures of the walls -- here are a few examples:

We moved towards the center lobby for these next shots, utilizing the staircase:

Another ring shot, with the transparent covering of the veil:

Lastly, I went for another elevated shot, this time I'm looking down from the second floor:

Mandi, Kathy, thanks again for all your help and ideas! The shoot went smooth and I couldn't ask for a better location. Next blog post, which will happen very soon, will be from the wedding at T&P Station!
