Logan at One

Seeing and documenting Logan's growth again and again is nothing short of amazing. Logan just turned one -- one year old, even saying that as it rolls off your tongue instead of "11 months" is a big milestone for any parent.

Katie and Ben brought us out again to Denton to get some photos in. We began at South Lakes Park where they have a wooden castle playground, and then moved to the Old Alton Bridge.

You can see how much longer his hair as gotten compared to the previous session at 6-months:

We took some sitting ones, too:

Then moved to playing on monkey bars:

One of the family!:

And all by himself:

Getting his shot from atop:

He seemed content being in the swing:

When we moved onto old Alton bridge, I had Rochelle use the gold reflector less, and filled in with a flash instead:

Mom and Dad:

I made a suggestion to bring a chair they'd like for the session, and we had Logan use it:

Squished:

More posing on the chair:

Logan sure did enjoy mom singing:

And messing with dad's face:

Thanks Katie, Ben, and Logan! I hope you had a happy first birthday, too!

Joey's Senior Portraits - Denton, TX

Joey is graduating from UT-Tyler with a degree in civil engineering, and we photographed in Denton for his portraits.

We started at Old Alton bridge, and used some of the surroundings, and ended at a railroad overpass off Old Alton Road. Here are a few images from the session.

He brought along a safety helmet as a prop, so we started with that for a couple of photos:

Then I moved in for a more closer portrait:

I took a more environmental approach to this shoot, since there's a lot to utilize in this area:

We then moved onto a nearby railroad overpass, and there is a collection of large rocks I wanted to use:

I had him lean against one of the wooden supports for the small connecting bridge:

Joey, Becky, thanks for coming out. It's always good to see y'all!
