Catherine's Going Away Party

I was contacted to photograph Catherine's going away party last weekend by a friend, who I worked with before. They asked for a photo booth setup and candids at Catherine's beautiful home in Dallas. While it was a beautiful home that she unfortunately has to leave, I only wish her the best of luck in her new chapter in life at Austin. Congrats!

Sally and Reynord's Wedding - Garland, TX

I met Sally and Reynord through Thomas and Lily's wedding, and through Mason, Sally's son whom I saw initially in 2009. Seeing them again was a plus, considering the bride and groom drove from west Texas - Pecos to be exact.

They got ready at the Hyatt Place in Garland, and held their ceremony and reception at Tasty China in the same city as well. Here's a glimpse into their day:

Preparation time, along with details and some of the girls afterwards:

This is what happens when a little one exerts too much energy, they fall into an immediate nap:

Then they left to head to the restaurant early, and we got the guys in. I especially looked forward to Mason:

We took the guys' portraits out in the lobby area, too, but on the opposite side:

We got to the venue and set up a backdrop, and while Rochelle was finalizing that, I went ahead and worked on the details:

Time to roll out!:

Echoing the colors of the ceremony through the Unity Sand was a nice touch:

Some more details:

The Kiss:

One of the wedding party:

Then transitioned into opening up the dance floor with Sally and her father, Reynord and his mother, and then Sally and Reynord:

As a custom in most Asian weddings, Sally, Reynord and their immediate family went from table to table to thank guests and accept gifts from them:

Speech time!:

And into the cake cutting and toasting:

The rest of the night was spent dancing away, and there was a lot of it:

A brief pause for Sally and Reynord on signing the marriage license. It's official now:

And back to dancing coverage:

Photobooth pictures can be seen here, just click on the photo of these three:

Sally, Reynord, and everyone involved, thank you so much for making this a fantastic wedding to be a part of. Congratulations!
