Ashley and Brandon's Conroe / Willis Wedding

Ashley and Brandon held their wedding at St. James Episcopal Church in Conroe, and their reception at Sunset Harbor in Willis. The event was beautifully held on St. Patrick's day, and many greens were fashioned throughout the night, as you maybe saw in the earlier post with the photo booth pictures.

We started the coverage with Ashley and her bridesmaids getting ready at RK Hair Designers in Conroe, moved to Alter Images Salon for the make-up, and then to the church:

One of the ongoing games they played collectively was Draw Something. If you haven't heard of it, it's a phone game where it's essentially Pictionary.

Towards the end, when the girls were looking at mirrors and the hairdo is taking shape, we met up with Ashley at Alter Images Salon, where she was airbrushed:

Here are a few of the details taken when the ladies were getting ready:

With about less than an hour to relax and mingle a little for downtime, I went ahead and started what group shots I could:

One of the flower girls was tired, only to be comforted by Ashley:

Shortly before the start of the ceremony, I went ahead and made these images of the two of them across the door. While coerced into kissing the door, Ashley came close, but wasn't quite touching it (sorry Brandon!):

And now, onto the ceremony! Here, you can see Ashley walking down with her father in hand:

The architecture of the church was very simple, and I wanted to express it in this shot:

The rings:

And the kiss:

Once the ceremony was over, many kisses and hugs were shared in the lobby:

A couple of formals that we took:

I rode with them to Sunset Harbor from the church, with one of the groomsmen driving (fireman's hat necessary):

We had plans on stopping by the highway to take a few photos together with Texas Bluebonnets. Honking from passersby ensued:

Rather than a guestbook, Ashley and Brandon had their guests sign a quilt:

After making their entrance into the reception, they went swiftly into their first dance, followed by the mother/son, then father/daughter dances:

The sunset view the guests were treated to outside:

Where we made a couple more images:

Dinner was served, and it was time to mingle with the guests:

A few of the details of the wedding:

And then the floor started to open up!:

It was time to cut the cake, feed it, and ultimately have the lingering cake smashing reciprocated onto Brandon:

Then things moved into the speeches, made by the maid-of-honor and best man, followed by Ashley and Brandon themselves:

Now back to the dancing:

When it came to the bouquet toss, a good fake toss is a way to get people's attention. Noticed how even though the guys still made eye contact, their arms aren't raised?:

The last bit of dancing:

Not everyone had the stamina, though:

As the night came to an end, they made their way out, with bubbles filling the air:

I want to thank everyone for making their wedding a success, and helping me make their images memorable. Ashley, Brandon, congratulations on the married life!
